KG- The Big Barn Nature Camp

On January 16th, our Kindergarteners swapped their classrooms for the great outdoors with an exciting visit to The Big Barn Nature Camp. This sensory-rich excursion beautifully bridged classroom learning with real-world experiences.

Our little explorers engaged with nature firsthand—petting cows, goats, and rabbits, and meeting fascinating creatures like iguanas and turtles. They explored the organic farm, fed fish, and discovered where their food comes from, gaining valuable insights into sustainability and healthy living.

The highlight of the day was a hands-on planting activity, where each child sowed seeds and took home a small pot to nurture—fostering responsibility and a growing love for the environment.

Exhausted yet elated, our students returned with dusty shoes, happy hearts, and memories of a joyful day filled with discovery, teamwork, and learning beyond the classroom.
