Republic Day Celebrations 2026


NPS Koramangala commemorated India’s 77th Republic Day on 26th January 2026 with great patriotic zeal and enthusiasm on the school grounds. Accompanied by the members of the Student Council, the Principal, Ms. Jyotsna Nair, unfurled the tricolour as the school choir rendered a soulful and patriotic rendition of the National Anthem, in the august presence of students, teachers, and parents.

The programme featured a captivating dance by the VPA dance students of Grade 9, performed to a medley of patriotic songs that enthralled the audience with its grace and expressive choreography. This was followed by an eloquent and thought-provoking address by Ms. Swati Brahma, Department of Physics, who invoked the spirit of patriotism and emphasized the importance of individual potential. She reflected on the significance of the day by highlighting the values enshrined in the Constitution and encouraged students to embody the ideals of unity, integrity, and responsibility in their everyday lives. The student speech delivered by Ananya Iyer of Grade 9B further inspired the audience, as she underscored the idea that meaningful change begins with small, consistent actions and motivated her peers to actively contribute towards nation-building.

The celebration concluded on a high note with a brief address by the Principal, leaving the gathering inspired, reflective, and proud of the rich democratic heritage of the nation.
