Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration, 2025


The Kannada Rajyotsava celebration was held in our school on 8th November 2025 with great pride and enthusiasm. The event beautifully reflected our love and respect for the state of Karnataka and its rich cultural heritage.

The emcees Harini N P and Aditya Sajjan of Grade 8 significance and origin of Karnataka and Kannada Rajyothsava. Their words expressed our deep sense of pride and reverence for the state. They also shared the inspiring slogan “Kannadave Sathya, Kannadave Nithya,” encouraging everyone to cherish the beauty of the Kannada language and its timeless heritage.

This was followed by a soulful performance by the school choir, in which students and Kannada teachers sang a few melodious Kannada songs, including the state anthem “Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujate.” Their performance filled the air with a strong sense of pride and patriotism.

Next, Vinanti Ma’am gave an insightful introduction on Kanakadasa Jayanthi, highlighting the life, teachings, and contributions of the great saint-poet Kanakadasa. To honour him, our music teacher rendered a few of his compositions, bringing alive his devotion and creativity through soulful music.

The celebration concluded with words of appreciation from the teachers, reminding everyone of the importance of preserving and promoting the Kannada language and Karnataka’s cultural heritage. The program was both educational and inspiring, leaving the audience filled with pride for our state and its glorious traditions.
