They said it

AHAN was spectacular, the theme being completely different! It was very nice to see all the children performing in such a co-ordinated matter. The compering by the students was equally brilliant. The teachers who have developed the theme and trained the students, deserve a special thanks and applause. What is so special is that each and every student took part in this programme! I wish you and the school all the very best and I am happy that we are a part of your esteemed school.

Mr. S. K. Guha

Thank you for showcasing Karnataka. Majority of us are oblivious to the fact that we live in the state of Karnataka! Every production at NPS is awesome and mesmerizing. Our thanks to all the people involved in this beautiful event. Our thanks to Dr.Bindu Hari, for her in sighted words. Every event we eagerly await her speech.

Ms. Revathi Govindarajan

It was indeed a wonderful treat us to witness 'Ahan 2009'. We cannot sufficiently express in words the pride we felt as parents of children studying in NPS Koramangala.

'Ahan 2009' was perfect in every respect, be it the theme, the presentation, the costumes, the lighting, etc. Every aspect was aesthetic too. There was not one dull moment and the seamless manner in which the narration moved along with the smooth entries and exits, made sure we were riveted to our seats. I must mention that there were several dance forms that we were witnessing for the first time, though we have been residents of Bangalore for over a decade and a half. It was an education in art, culture and history for all of us parents and I can imagine what a learning experience it must have been for the children!

What astounded me was that every child in the school had performed a prominent role on stage which would have made their parents happy. The thought of the tremendous planning and hard work that would have gone into a production of this magnitude is simply mind blogging. Hearty congratulations to all who were involved in AHAN 2009!

Ms. Sumitra Nitin

We were delighted to attend 'Ahan 2009'. The theme chosen - Transformation of old Bangalore to modern cosmopolitan metro was very appropriate. Many of us, parents, have indeed witnessed this change over the last decade or so. The costumes were well designed, lyrics were enthralling and music was foot-tapping.

A special point to mention is that the entire program was conducted by students themselves. It started on time, was well coordinated and came to close on time. The speeches by the chairman and principal were thought provoking and appropriate for the occasion.

Ms. Ashwini & Mr. Girish Kharosekar

I would like to congratulate the staff and children of NPS on a great show. We liked the theme very much and enjoyed every moment of the show. It was very informative too, as we got to know several interesting facts about Bengaluru. NPS Koramangala has grown over the years and the fully packed auditorium was a testimony to that. We hope the future editions of AHAN will be as good or better. Congratulations once again on a great show.

Mr. K G Mahadeva Swamy & Ms. T S Bhavana

Thank you for the wonderful show put up by the students. The costumes the co-ordination and the theme of Bengaluru were wonderful. We would like to appreciate the effort put in to bring every child on stage. The punctuality, smooth flow of programmes, the total involvement of the children, the senior's involvement in organizing the show, and the warm welcome by the teachers was amazing! We also appreciate the wonderful speech by Dr.Bindu Hari, on current challenges in bringing up children.

Mr. Sanjay Paul Antony & Ms. Tresa Abraham Paul

The most appreciative quality I would like to highlight about the school is its consideration towards the child's comforts and needs. Right from the warm and exclusive reception the kids receive at the entrance from their cheerful teachers in the morning to the prompt and considerate enquiries when something is not normal, every little aspect within their domain is well taken care of.

Ms. Jayanthi Chandrasekar

Children are taught by highly qualified and competent teachers and the results are consistently excellent. Alumni of NPS group of institutions are doing well in all walks of life all over the world. Students of NPS are taught to be sensitive to the environment and the underprivileged in society. It is truly a "second home" for children, where their talents are nurtured, appreciated and developed.

Ms. Rekha Anand

The entire environment is highly structured, very interactive, creative and caring. Every aspect of academics, behaviour, maturity to be independent and advice on nutritious food is part of school and built into the process.

Mr. Balakrishna B

We are grateful to the Principal, vice-principals and staff of NPS, Koramangala for the unconditional support and encouragement. We would like to give all the credit to the school for Rachita’s outstanding performance in tennis.

Mr. Sanjay Sarda & Ms. Veena Sarda

There is the right amount of focus on academics and extra curriculars where learning happens through various interesting activities without any undue pressure on children. Aditya looks forward to school and enjoys every moment at school. Thanks to the friendly, warm and supportive teachers. We are proud to be part of NPS family.

Mr. Sridhar J

The teachers nurture the very best in each child. This is evident in the class annual programs conducted in the school. The best memory of the year for Shreya happened to be the class show on Russia to the parents of primary school children in the school auditorium. Her exposure to speak in front of a packed hall gave her an enormous boost. Important aspects like confidence, leadership and social skills besides an overall development is taken care of.

Mr. Sridhar Rajagopal

The lessons imparted at NPS go beyond the covers of the textbook. The school inspires the students to update their knowledge about recent trends in various fields. NPS, Koramangala fosters in children a sense of responsibility to the community.

Mr. Kundu

I think NPS is great because of the excellent academics. The teaching is very good and I find that I do not have to put in any extra effort with the children as they are taught so well in school. It is wonderful to know that my children's class teachers know so much about my children, their nature, their strong and weak areas and even what they like and dislike in their meal boxes.

Dr. (Mrs.) Sharon Dias

We, the parents of Nimisha Mohan, thank the school for supporting her sports and helping her to improve her game consistently. We convey our sincere appreciation of all that the school did for her game which helped her immensely. As a result she could develop her overall personality, confidence and complete her 10th with good marks apart from doing well in tennis.

Mr. K. G. Mohan & Ms. Shyamala Mohan

NPS has motivated and skilled teachers who have a great bond with the children. The school has a wonderful environment with facilities at par with the best in the world, at the same time laying emphasis on what is true value.

Dr. Shekar Rao

NPS is known for quality education and high standards which have moulded the life of so many individuals in this world. As an ex-student, I would say without hesitation that my school has made me what I am today. The child imbibes the moral values and the interactive and communicative skills while attending the school.

Mr. T Srinivas Murthy

NPS lays strong focus on academics and also ensures that children are given total care, a comfortable world class environment and personal guidance for their growth and development. The school also has ensured high levels of interaction with the students of all their associate schools in the city. I believe that such forums certainly provide good developmental exposure to children and recommend that the school continue with these practices even in future.

Mr. Anand Talwar

The professionalism that we have seen among the staff and the teachers is quite amazing. Discipline and creativity need not be contradictions, and we see this repeatedly through our children's interactions in school. We are quite thrilled with the activities that our children get to do in school, and we hope that this will continue as the children go to higher standards. We are also happy about the values that are being taught to the children. Thank you NPS !!

Ms. Viswanathan

Advaita is developing her personality manifold thanks to the montessorial learning at NPS. She is not only building her conceptual and reasoning faculties but she is also acquiring the softer skills of life like good communication, self confidence and interpersonal skills.

Ms. Divya Krishnan

The experience we had during the "Observation Day" was very memorable. A variety of activities were available, targeted towards developing different skills. It was a pleasant surprise to see every child independently take the required materials for their activity and place them back after use. We also found the teachers encouraging the kids to do the various activities without thrusting it on them.

Gayathri Venkat Raman

Children respect their teachers and not fear them which is an amazing feat. The strong focus on academics is overwhelming and stands the children in good stead, preparing them for a bright future. We have never witnessed any unruly behavior from NPS students, even after school hours, unrestrained! They are a vision of good grooming.

Mr. Ashish Khanna & Ms. Nandita Khanna

The Montessori section of NPS eases toddlers gently into the rough and tumble of school life, encouraging talents they spot in the children, tackling shortcomings with care and sensitivity. School for them is a place they can look forward to going, where education is not a chore, and the teachers they can look up to and love. I can see it building a firm foundation on which all future learning shall rest, while allowing them to retain their individuality and independence of thought.

Ms. Sudeshna Shome Ghosh

No one can underestimate the part played by National Public School - Koramangala in shaping the badminton career of their student Poorvisha S Ram. National Public School excels in academics and produces brilliant scholars who have made their progressive mark in the world.

Without the school’s backing Poorvisha could not have become the Under Thirteen Karnataka State Champion. The Principal and the vice-principal have contributed in every way.

Mr. Shankar Ram & Ms. Renuka Shankar Ram

The rigorous academic curriculum and disciplined approach to learning that NPS adopts have equipped both our daughters with a solid foundation for their further studies. We have noticed them develop a keen sense of punctuality and time management. Healthy competition from a diverse peer group ensured that they never fell behind in their academic performances.

The various extracurricular activities at NPS have placed due emphasis on well-rounded education, making everyday learning at NPS a joy. We have watched both our daughters use the wonderful opportunities handed to them and evolve into active, responsible and informed students. Participation in individual and team events has instilled in them confidence and a spirit of perseverance.

The school has exercised perfection and excellence in every endeavour. All in all, we are very happy with the decision we took to enroll both our daughters at NPS and believe that we couldn’t have made a better choice.

Mrs. Lata Suresh & Dr. Suresh Balakrishnan

I want to share the good news. I have completed my Masters and have found (after a lot of struggle) a job to my liking. I am now working as an Operations Engineer at Stanley Black and Decker in their Security Solutions Division out in Indianapolis. I work at the platform level and am carrying out projects very close to my area of expertise.

I want to thank all the teachers at NPS-K. Every time I attend a meeting and/or have to give a presentation, not once am I not prepared. The ability to speak with confidence, the way that I always keep my things organized and the fact that I have little or no stage fright is all thanks to my years at NPS and the exposure conducting class assemblies. participating in numerous fests and the various roles of responsibility that we were given. These small things today have made a huge impact on me and I am thankful to the teachers and the school for it!

Prashanth Natarajan Iyer

The best part of school is the great environment, wonderful teachers and peers. I’ve learnt a lot of important lessons in school and I will always remember with happiness and gratitude the time I spent in school.

Abhinav S Rao

I studied in NPS for the four most crucial years of my school life - Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. In these four years, NPS gave me much beyond bookish knowledge. Right from grade 9 we were trained to be leaders. Each one of us was given the freedom to express ourselves, freedom to experiment with our ideas and choose the path of our choice and interest. The confidence of fearless speech, very essential in my chosen profession – law, was instilled in me by NPS. It was my second home where every teacher taught me the spirit of life. I owe it all to NPS.

Amrita Kundu

My school gave me a great platform to learn and evolve. We were given opportunities to unleash our creative potential and go beyond mere academics.

Arun V S

NPS, in my opinion, is a brilliant mini model of the real world that lies ahead.

Ashwathi Shenoi

When I reflect on the five years I’ve spent in this school, the most apt and general statement that comes to my mind is this: This place has made me GROW. I’ve grown in more than a few ways. It has made me realize my true self, my real calling - apart from the many life skills, social skills and technical knowledge that NPS,K has imparted to me.

I shall always hold my school close to my heart.

Bhargavi Ratnam

NPS Koramangala has changed my life forever. It has helped prepare me for the world ahead, and the challenges I may face. Thanks to the nurturing help of my teachers, I was able to focus my creativity in one direction – Excellence

It is important to learn from experience. It is less important, I believe, where you start, it is more important how and what you learn. It has been an enriching experience for me. The school has given me confidence, courage and continuous support; memories which I would always cherish. I feel myself so much a part of everything in my school.

Ms. Nirmala Mohan

NPS is a vast expanse- a panorama, where each one of us strikes a distinct chord yet creates melody in unison. How we do it is a wonder, needless to say to be experienced than to be verbalized.

Ms. Aparna Dinesh

Challenging. Enriching. Rewarding. This is how I would describe my experience ever since I stepped into the portals of this prestigious institution. Opportunities are galore; the exposure unique. The students keep you on your toes; they are energetic, curious and have a keen desire to know more. In such an ambience the learning curve can only show an upward trend.

Ms. Jyotsna Nair

Ms. Srividya P

EXPERIENCES! This is what the time that I have spent at NPS, Koramangala has been. It has been (and continues to be), of course, a wonderful teaching experience teaching grades 6 -12 - satisfying their curious minds, catering to their high academic standards and ensuring that all students benefit at the end of the year. Apart from this, working at NPS, Koramangala, has helped me become a more organized person capable of taking on challenges of various kinds - not just academics. The school has provided excellent opportunities for me to learn the nuances of various aspects - ranging from man-management to leadership skills to creativity. As I write this, I feel a tremendous sense of satisfaction that I am associated with a school where not only the students, but the teachers too are systematically guided to do their best in life!

Ms. Pramila Menon

Creative freedom, effective communication, challenging theories, questioning assumptions, lateral thinking and a strong sense of social responsibility are what we at NPS are continuously catering to.

Ms. Anju C

We take pride in saying that NPS has always stood for the golden principles of discipline, self confidence and optimism. In an ambient atmosphere every facet of a rough stone i.e., a student, is cut and sharpened so that a diamond of unique quality emerges. At our school, we lay emphasis not only on academic development, but on character building, self reliance, patriotism and the zest to excel.

Ms. Kiran Bathija
