World Environment Day 2025

NPS Koramangala observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2025, aligning with the UN theme: Reducing Plastic Waste. The event began with a moving performance titled Earth Speaks, where the Earth, personified, voiced its anguish over pollution and neglect. A thought-provoking speech followed, urging gratitude and responsibility toward nature.

The school launched several initiatives to promote environmental awareness. The Gratitude Wall encouraged students of Grades 6–10 to express appreciation for nature through classroom displays. A compelling video on plastic pollution highlighted the urgency of the issue.

The Green Space initiative assigned each class a patch of campus greenery to care for throughout the year, fostering a hands-on connection with nature. To sustain engagement, Eco Shots — weekly environmental tips — are now shared during morning assembly. The celebration emphasized that environmental care is a year-round commitment, and NPS Koramangala is taking purposeful steps toward a greener future.
