AHAN 2025–26
After a hiatus of six years following the COVID period, AHAN 2025–26, the triennial cultural extravaganza titled Vasundhara, was presented by the students of the Primary Years on October 31, 2025. The event comprised two captivating segments — one by Grades 1, 2, and 3, and the other by Grades 4 and 5.
Our Vice Chairperson, Dr. Bindu Hari, and our Principal, Ms. Jyotsna Nair—both of whom have always been constant sources of support and inspiration—added warmth and encouragement to the event. In her closing address, Dr Bindu Hari expressed great pride in the creativity and commitment displayed by the young performers. Both shows witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with enthusiastic participation from parents, grandparents, and special guests, including the Principals, middle leaders, and invitees from our sister schools who also attended the event.
Part 1 – Echoes of Time transported the audience across different eras, beginning with the Palaeolithic period, where Grade 1 depicted the lives of early tribes and their discoveries such as fire and weapons. Grade 2 showcased the transition from nomadic life to settled communities, highlighting the birth of trade, currency, and social order. Grade 3 brought to life the remarkable urban planning and vibrant culture of the Indus Valley Civilisation, particularly Mohenjo-daro.
Through a harmonious blend of dance, drama, and mime, students vividly portrayed humanity’s journey through time. The narrative was beautifully woven together by the central characters — Time, a monk, and his disciples — who guided the audience seamlessly through each epoch.
