Grade 7 – Visit to Rakum Blind School

The students of Grade 7 visited Shri Rakum School for the Blind, a residential institution for visually challenged and orphaned children located in Indiranagar. The visit offered a heartwarming and eye opening experience, giving the students a deeper understanding of the lives of the visually impaired. During the visit, the students learned how the visually challenged navigate their surroundings using a walking stick and were introduced to the Braille script. They also observed how the residents skillfully use computers, proving that determination and perseverance can overcome any obstacle. The trip concluded with a heartfelt reminder to cherish and care for one’s eyesight — a precious gift often taken for granted.
