Novellascape and Art Hub 2023

"Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go."
- E.L. Doctorow

Novellascape was a literary event organized by National Public School (Koramangala), where students of grade 4 wrote novellas, printed and exhibited them in school.

The event took place on the school premises on 25th February, 2023. The students came dressed up as the main characters of their books. The main objective of the event was to promote love for reading and writing among students.

Apart from the novella exhibition, the event also had a puppet show named 'Celebrating You.' It aimed at appreciating individuality and uniqueness, and was well received by all.

Art Hub, the annual art exhibition was also held along with Novellascape. It showcased a variety of artwork done by the students.

The primary students used common placed materials like ice- cream sticks to make a whole lot of artifacts ranging from colourful fish to elegant wall hangings.

They also created various origami artifacts like birds, honeycombs and aquariums.

It was truly a feast to the eye to see the display of artwork of the students of Grades 1-10 ranging from illustration art and lippan art to yan mandalas and Kalighat paintings. Each piece on display was a masterpiece in its own right, proving yet again that: ‘A picture is worth a thousand words.’
