Grade 8-C Assembly

On 4th September grade 8C presented their class assembly titled, Guru Shikshya Parampara. Initiating the assembly English faculty member Ms Usha Unnikrishnan narrated a personal anecdote giving out the message that one should lead by example.

Juxtaposing two skits that displayed the ancient Guru- Shikshya relationship and the present day teacher – student classroom interactions, the students stoked the feeling of gratitude towards their teachers and schooling at large. Deliberating on the increasing role of technology in education, the children advocated that a loving and thoughtful teacher is simply irreplaceable. She’s instrumental in not only imparting knowledge but also instilling values in the students, which in the long run play a pivotal role in making them successful individuals. Melodious Hindi songs and dance were well much appreciated.
