IRIS 2026 - A Galaxy of Talent and innovation

IRIS 2026, the Interschool Science, Commerce and Cultural Fest, transformed NPS Koramangala into a vibrant hub of innovation, creativity, and collaboration on 24th July 2026. Inspired by the theme Where Stars Ignite, the fest brought together young thinkers, innovators, performers, and future leaders who explored new frontiers of science, commerce, and the arts with imagination and confidence.

The Principal, Ms. Jyotsna Nair, warmly welcomed 345 participants from 11 schools and declared open this entirely student-led celebration featuring 15 engaging events that challenged intellect, creativity, and teamwork.

The scientific events transported participants beyond the boundaries of Earth, from designing solutions for interplanetary colonisation and decoding alien messages to solving forensic mysteries, exploring biological systems, and engineering robots for high-intensity football matches. Each challenge demanded analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and collaborative problem-solving.

The Commerce events tested participants' entrepreneurial instincts and strategic acumen through business pitches, marketing campaigns, policy debates, finance-driven football challenges, corporate crisis management, and persuasive courtroom arguments. Every event encouraged students to think critically, communicate effectively, and make informed decisions under pressure.

The cultural arena celebrated imagination and artistic expression through dramatic reinterpretations of classic stories, architectural redesign challenges, psychology-literature crossovers, captivating dance performances, and innovative acapella presentations, showcasing the remarkable versatility of young talent.

School Prefect Prachi Nagar and Vice-Prefect Sreejani Bhaduri infused warmth and excitement into the gathering through their welcome and valedictory addresses, respectively.

With every challenge embraced and every performance delivered, IRIS 2026 reaffirmed that learning extends far beyond the classroom, flourishing where curiosity meets opportunity. At the culmination of an exhilarating day, NPS Indiranagar emerged as the Overall Champions, while IRIS 2026 left every participant inspired to dream bigger, think deeper, and reach beyond the stars.
