Love and laughter, dance and drama, smiles and gratitude characterize the day every teacher looks forward to every year when her/his students go beyond the customary expressions of respect and pour their affection for their gurus in numerous wonderful ways.
Students and teachers of NPS Koramangala celebrated Teachers’ Day with immense zeal on 4th September, 2021, a day prior to the official Teachers’ Day. The virtual program was exclusively curated by grades 11 and 12 students. A melodious rendition of the Guru Paduka Stotram gave a musical start to the virtual program. The anchor for the day, school prefect Aditya Raj, voiced his gratitude to all the teachers on behalf of all the students. Knowing too well the favorites of their teachers, 12th graders never miss a dance and song medley on high-spirited popular numbers. A hilarious skit portrayed the good old classroom scenarios with a comical twist. The beauty of the programme was that most of it was shot in the school premises, in the newly renovated auditorium, serene corridors, stairs and grounds which seemed to be beckoning everyone back to school.
The students also put together a montage of memories capped in a video interspersed with music. And what best way to end the programme than by laying out a virtual bouquet of heartwarming wishes to their dear teachers on a Padlet. No doubt a befitting treat for the earnest teachers who savoured every bit of it with joy.
