Teachers’ Day

Love finds its way and so does gratitude. This Teachers’ Day was unlike previous years. The sweet roses, the beautiful handmade cards, the shine of eyes filled with love, the thunderous chanting of “Happy Teachers” Day and the eagerly awaited live performances in the auditorium just couldn’t be. But Love finds its way and so does gratitude. Students of Grade 12 went live on YouTube with a heart-warming potpourri of all that they knew their teachers love and look forward to, whether it was old Bollywood melodies and dances, Shiamak Davar inspired energetic dance sequences, soft lilting instrumental music, selfcomposed poetry, or lovely messages. What made it so emotionally rewarding was that the children transcended all obstacles put down by the lockdown and found their way to bring cheer and smile to their beloved teachers’ faces.
