Interhouse Dance, Dramatics and Music Events – Grades 9-12

Inter-House Western Dance
On 14th November 2022, the Performing Arts Club conducted the inter-house western dance event. It involved two rounds. In the first round, each House was given a prop that they had to creatively incorporate into their dance and perform for 3-3.5 minutes. Two teams qualified for the next round. Round 2 was a freestyle dance-off where two songs were played and participants had to dance on the spot. The Voyagers emerged victorious after a tough competition.

Inter-House Classical Dance
The Performing Arts Club conducted the inter-house classical dance event on 15th November 2022. Each House was given a western fairy tale which they had to depict through classical dance in about 2-3 minutes. The Voyagers, who portrayed Sleeping Beauty, bagged first place.

Inter-House Dramatics
On 14th November 2022, the Dramatics Club conducted the inter-house dramatics event. Each House was given a famous movie and the task was to extend or incorporate the storyline of the movie into a horror skit, lasting 10- 12 mins. The Voyagers emerged victorious with the Pioneers as a close second.

Inter-House Music Event
The Music Club organised an inter-house music event on November 14, 2022. It involved two rounds. In the first round, the Houses performed a classical song adding their own western touch to it. The second round was a ‘Battle of the Bands’ round where Houses performed two songs of their choice. The Pioneers emerged victorious after a close fight, followed by the Voyagers and Explorers.
