Independence Day Celebration 2024
Freedom is the canvas upon which every citizen can paint their dreams, hopes, and aspirations.
Commemorating 77 glorious years of freedom, NPS Koramangala celebrated the 78th Independence Day with grace and vivacity. Flanked by the prefect, vice prefect, captains, and vice captains, Principal Ms. Jyotsna Nair hoisted the Tiranga, accompanied by a soulful rendition of the national anthem that filled every heart with verve and patriotism. Fiery speeches by Ms. Sujata Mishra, a Hindi faculty member, and Naomi Davis from Grade 9A hailed the day as a symbol of the triumph of the human spirit and urged every Indian to contribute positively to nation-building. The skit Naya Bharat: The Designers of Future India presented the fundamental tenets of our constitution—equality, liberty, justice, secularism, and democracy—in a new light, embodying the true spirit of the nation. Mesmerizing classical and fusion dance sequences encapsulated the essence of independence, while the air reverberated with patriotic melodies as the musical ensemble reached a crescendo. Enchantingly compered by H R Gowri (9A) and Rishi Srinivasan (9B), the programme highlighted our deeply entrenched values, rich heritage, and immense potential to craft a brilliant future for our beloved country.
