Graduation Day 2020-21


NPS Koramangala bid a warm adieu to its sixteenth batch of 12th graders at the virtual Graduation Ceremony on 10th April 2021. It was even harder this year to watch the students say goodbye through the barrier of a digital screen. However, given the Covid19 constraints, the school left no stone unturned to make their momentous milestone an unforgettable one.

A nostalgic recapture of the precious moments of the graduating batch was the curtain raiser of the enchanting evening, followed by the auspicious lighting of the lamp along with the euphonious music by Grade 10 and 11 students

Ms. Susan Thomas IRS, Director, NIFT Bengaluru graced the occasion as chief guest for the day. From her repertoire of invaluable experiences, Ms. Susan shared some timeless gems for the class of 2021 to ponder about. The most prominent being to appreciate the little things in life that are actually the big things that would shape one’s personality besides keeping a guard on parading oneself mindlessly on social media.

Chairman Dr. Gopalakrishna congratulated the students and urged them to nurture love, humility and compassion for the fellow beings. On a similar note, Vice Chairperson Dr. Bindu Hari exhorted them to be the torch bearers of the future and to positively influence all those around them. CEO, NPS Group of institutions Mr. Hari Krishnan counselled the outgoing batch to never waiver their focus and to be a winner. Principal Ms. Jyotsna Nair reassured the graduating batch and their parents saying that however difficult times may be, the values imbibed by these young adults will always see them through.

The soulful flute recital by Suhas Reddy of Grade 12A and the graceful Odissi dance recital by Mansi Anil Kumar of Grade 10B regaled the audience. The scrolls were virtually presented to each of the graduates by the dignitaries. Liam Bopanna and Advaita Krishnan shared their beautiful memories and spoke about how their alma mater has shaped them into self-confident and candid personalities. School Prefect, Anika Khandekar read the Covenant, a solemn agreement that reminds the students of their duties in future and a pledge to abide by the values learnt, throughout their schooling. The parent speakers, Mr. Arvind Gulhati and Dr. Latha Devarajan lauded the ethos, opportunities and diversity that the school offers to its students.

With the Ceremonial Declaration by the Principal, the students were finally declared graduands.

As the symbolic light of knowledge was received by the School Prefect Anika Khandekar on behalf of the 77 graduands, all the teachers wished them a bright future with the mellifluous assurance of Mr. Jason Francis that wherever they go they will never be alone.
