Graduation Ceremony 2025
The Graduation Ceremony for the twentieth batch of Grade 12 students at NPS Koramangala was held on 8th February 2025, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. The event was a perfect blend of nostalgia, inspiration, and celebration, with heartfelt blessings from well-wishers, treasured recollections of friendships, and captivating music creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
The chief guest for the day, Mr Bhaskar Bhat, the Managing Director of Titan Company Ltd., the esteemed Chairman K P Gopalkrishna TISB, NAFL and NPS Group of Schools, Vice Chairperson Dr. Bindu Hari, and the Principal, Ms. Jyotsna Nair graced the occasion, adding to the event's grandeur.
As parents arrived, they were welcomed with a nostalgic montage showcasing cherished moments of the graduating batch, from their early years to senior school, evoking both pride and sentiment. The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, accompanied by a melodious invocation by students from Grades 7-9, setting the tone for the evening.
Vice Chairperson, Dr. Bindu Hari addressed the outgoing batch, urging them to remain grateful to their parents and society and to strive to be positive contributors. Drawing inspiration from World Chess Champion Gukesh Dommaraju’s triumph and humility, she highlighted the transformative power of constructive habits that define the character. Dr. Hari wished the students a future brimming with success. The dignitaries then presented mementoes to the 80 graduands, celebrating their achievements.
The chief guest Mr Bhaskar Bhat delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to celebrate uniqueness, embrace diversity, and uphold values like curiosity, humility, confidence, and humanity, exemplified by the illustrious industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata. Showering the pearls of wisdom on the bright talented batch, the esteemed Chairman, Dr K P Gopalkrishna emphasized the importance of resilience and adaptability in today’s rapidly evolving world and advised parents to support their children in pursuing their dreams in alignment with the school’s motto, Reach Out, Reach Out and Reach Beyond.
In her address, Principal Ms. Jyotsna Nair fondly commended the lovingly lively yet fiercely competitive Class of 2025 and recounted their remarkable accomplishments across various fields. She shared five profound insights drawn from Sanskrit teachings: never give up, understand the power of your thoughts, recognize your completeness, see auspiciousness in everything, and find true happiness within.
The ceremony continued with the principal’s ceremonial declaration, as students moved their tassels from right to left, signifying their transition to becoming graduands. Representing the parent fraternity, Dr. Shradha Bahirwani expressed gratitude to the school for fostering a nurturing and holistic environment, sharing anecdotes that underscored the school’s commitment to its students’ growth.
Atulit Subramaniam and Kavya Shankar from the graduating batch shared heartfelt memories, expressing gratitude for the values and skills instilled in them by the school. The Covenant, solemnly read by School Vice-Prefect, Fareed Ur Rehman Kidwai, reminded students of their responsibilities and their pledge to uphold the values learned during their schooling.
The evening’s musical highlights, presented by the graduands, included a soulful rendition of Our Last Summer by Preethi Prabhu, accompanied on violin by Martin Gomez, and a poignant performance of Naina.. jo saanjhe khwab dekhte thhe (Dangal) by Shantanu Kadiyali. The Candle Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing the transfer of knowledge was followed by the rousing notes of school song Reach Out, Reach High, and Reach Beyond. The farewell concluded with the music teacher Mr Jason Francis’s mellifluous rendition of Let’s Get Together Again, adding a celebratory note to the scintillating event. After the national anthem, attendees dispersed to enjoy the remainder of the scintillating evening on the school grounds.
