Grade 10 – Visit to Little Sisters of the Poor
As part of their SEWA project, students of Class 10 visited the Little Sisters of the Poor Old Age Home in Hosur—an international congregation dedicated to caring for the elderly poor with compassion and dignity. The students were warmly received by one of the sisters, who guided them through the Home and shared how the residents engage in meaningful activities like helping with laundry, making paper bags, preparing vegetables, crafting, and enjoying TV time. The experience reinforced their responsibility to care for their grandparents and show kindness to seniors in the community. The visit renewed their faith in humanity and left them grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute.
