Grade 10 – Heritage Trip to Hampi


The students of Grade 10 enjoyed a fun-filled educational trip to the Vijayanagaran architectural marvel, Hampi, on November 19, 20 and 21. Meticulously organized by Heritage Inspired Tours, the excursion was infused with historical titbits, magnificent craftsmanship and ample opportunities for students to bond with their peers. Visits to the ancient Vittala, Virupaksha, Lakshmi Narasimha and Krishna temples, along with other fascinating tourist destinations, provided the students with deep insight into the lives, culture and remarkable achievements of Raja Krishnadevaraya and the Vijayanagara Empire. With the help of immensely engaging and knowledgeable tour guides, students furthered their interest in the realm of Indian history. All this learning, paired with exciting activities such as a bonfire and a spectacular performance of the local folk art form Dollu Kunitha, made for a trip that was thoroughly enjoyed by the students who created lifelong memories of fun, friendship and enrichment.
