Art Exhibition 2026
Art Hub, the annual art exhibition 2026 held from 11-14 February 2026, was a vibrant celebration of creativity, transforming the Art Room into a lively gallery of colour and imagination. Showcasing artworks from Grades 1 to 9, the exhibition reflected artistic growth, experimentation and cultural exploration across levels.
Grade 9 students impressed viewers with their VPA projects, creating striking three-dimensional cardboard masks using geometric and abstract forms. They also explored Australian Aboriginal art, interpreting its symbolic patterns with thoughtful detail.
Grade 8 presented Swirls of a Rose, highlighting symmetry in floral compositions, along with papier-mâché Wabi-Sabi Birds inspired by the beauty of simplicity and imperfection. Grade 7’s A Linear Look featured expressive portraits drawn using a single continuous line, demonstrating the power of minimalism.
Grade 6 explored circular patterns and reflective effects through Life in a Bubble and Mirrored Eclipse. Grade 5 brightened the display with vibrant oil pastel Terrific Toucans, while Grade 4 showcased abstract trees in Contrasting Natures alongside colourful, symmetrical beetles.
Grade 3’s Under the Sea drawings beautifully captured aquatic light effects through careful shading. Grade 2 impressed with detailed Sublime Succulents and vividly coloured seasonal trees. Our youngest artists in Grade 1 charmed visitors with bright parachute compositions and creative concentric circle designs.
The Photography and Visual Arts students further enriched the exhibition with their digital artworks, adding a contemporary dimension to the showcase. Continuing the tradition, faculty members added to the exhibition’s splendour with their vibrant murals and striking acrylic paintings.
The exhibition truly celebrated imagination, skill, and the joy of artistic expression.
