Grade 12-A Assembly

The class assemblies for the academic year 2019-20 kicked off to a spectacular start on 14th June with grade 12 A assembly. Revolving around the theme Timeless, the performances charmed the audience with a collection of classic and ubiquitous gems from the world of entertainment. The greatest all time ‘City Lights’ slapstick of Charlie Chaplin left everyone in stitches, while a medley of timeless groovy moves were attention grabbers. What floored the viewers, was the ensemble refreshingly close to home - a collection of iconic Bollywood scenes: Amjad Khan’s ‘Kitne aadmi the’ from Sholay, Shashi Kapoor’s ‘Mere paas maa hai’ from Deewaar, and, of course, Amrish Puri’s ‘Jaa Simran jaa’ from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge - with an entertaining little detour. An eloquent and expressive speech, on ‘What Makes Something Timeless?’ followed by the song ‘Hey Jude’, wrapped up what was for many the last chance to perform on NPS Koramangala’s stage- a beautiful nostalgia, relief, exhilaration.
