Swachhta Pakhwada

NPS Koramangala enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive for Swachh Bharat - Swachhta Pakhwada from 1-15 September 2019 under the guidelines of CBSE. During the fortnight all the students took pledge in the assembly to devote their time and attention towards keeping their surroundings clean. A talk by Eco club member made them conscious of the importance of the drive. Grade 5 students participated in Harit Shram Project where they grow vegetables and give it to the support staff. Students of all grades cleaned their classrooms for experiential learning. While school nurse Ms. Smitha spoke to the primary students about personal hygiene, faculty member Ms. Nanditha educated the support staff about the same. Summing up the fortnight long endeavors dedicated to cleanliness, students of grades 4, 5 wrote a letter about various activities taken on in the school for the Swachhta Pakhwada.
