Parent Workshops, July 2021

A workshop for Fresher parents on “Getting to know your child better – Module 3” was held on Saturday, 31st July 2021. This workshop focused on language development in 3 year old children and how it unfolds in the first year of Montessori. This was conducted by the coordinators followed by a guest speaker who spoke about her experience as a Montessori parent.

A workshop on “Getting to know your child better – Module 2” for Montessori Fresher parents was held on 10th July 2021, by the respective class teachers. The main focus of this workshop was “ Point of Interest”. How Point of Interest directs the child’s attention to specific points and draws them deeper into the activity to complete it.

Another workshop on “Encouraging Emotional Resilience Among Young Children” for Montessori Senior parents was held on the same day by the coordinators. This was an extension to the session on the same topic conducted the last academic year.
