The Handing Over Ceremony 2019-2020

The most important event marking the end of the academic year 2019-20, the Handing Over Ceremony, was held on the 30th of January 2020. The programme began with a shloka, invoking the blessings of the almighty, followed by the solemn event of the handing over of flags wherein the Grade 12 badge holders passed on the mantel of their responsibilities to their juniors. Principal Ms. Jyotsna Nair wished the outgoing 10th and 12th graders the very best and exhorted them not to look back with regret but to charge ahead with new vigour and new promises. The most awaited trophies were bestowed upon the most deserving. Abhinav Menon of 12A was declared the ‘Best Outgoing Student’ and Niveditha Iyer of 12A as ‘The Most Valuable Student’ of 2019-20. The school’s Cultural Cup was bagged by the Pioneer House. Various performances - dances, music and drama were complimented by huge rounds of applause. The event not only served as a solemn farewell for Grade 12 but also an occasion to wish them the very best for their future endeavours.
