Gandhi Jayanti 2021

Gandhi Jayanti week was celebrated digitally by primary section from 23rd September to 29th September.

A special Assembly was conducted where children dressed up as Gandhiji and presented his philosophy.

Students also dressed up as different personalities like Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Dalai Lama, Indira Gandhi and spoke about the profound influence Gandhiji had on these leaders.

Interesting anecdotes and stories related to the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi were shared with students. The students reflected on the stories and shared the morals in the class. Gandhiji’s role in freedom movement was also shared on a ppt with the children.

The week triggered creative activities such as craft, songs and dance to bring out the Gandhian thought to which children could relate to. Quotes by Gandhiji were shared to the students on the team post.
